Brown-Headed Cowbird Control Programs

Leatherman BioConsulting, Inc. has been a leader in providing brown-headed cowbird control program services since 2001. Leatherman BioConsulting, Inc. has implemented and managed sixteen different programs ranging in size from two to twenty-five traps, including programs in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and San Diego counties.

We are currently under contract to conduct several different programs for the consecutive years and completed other programs for the duration of the programs (for 5 or 10 years). The range of services provided by Leatherman BioConsulting, Inc. includes preparation of comprehensive brown-headed cowbird management plans, coordination of program implementation between resource agencies and clients, construction and reparation of traps, daily trap operation during the trapping season, and report preparation and submittal.
