Mojave River West Levee Phase II Project

Leatherman BioConsulting, Inc. provided construction monitoring services including flagging of construction limits, conducting pre-construction surveys and nesting bird surveys, preparation of and providing a worker environmental awareness program (WEAP), daily biological monitoring through the vegetation clearing phase of construction, and two days of monitoring per week throughout the project period for the Mojave Levee Project.

Completion of these tasks was documented on daily monitoring forms and submitted with weekly summary reports. Additional services conducted included attending project-related kick-off meetings, additional days to cover vegetation clearing, and additional site visits for providing worker environmental awareness training.
